Paving for road construction

The invention relates to paving for road construction, having a support layer which at least in part comprises refuse incineration slag, graded in particle size, and a binder. In order to make possible expedient utilisation of so-called recycled building materials, the support layer is to have the following composition: a) 40% by weight of a refuse incineration slag of particle size 0 to 40 mm having a maximum of 10% fines content from approximately 0.063 mm, -12%-18% water, b) 40% by weight of a recycled building material as in RAL-RB 501/1 of particle size 0 to 45 mm having a maximum of 2% fines from 0.063 mm, -8%-10% water, c) 20% by weight of granulated blast furnace slag (metallurgical sand).
