摘要 PURPOSE:To achieve a higher detection accuracy of an air flow rate to be sucked into a cylinder, by properly combining the current crank angle information with the opening of a throttle valve upon a shift to a transition state to correct information on air flow rate. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is made up of a throttle valve opening sensor 10, a crank angle sensor 15, an intake state detection means 18, a control unit 20 and the like. This unit 20 comprises a CPU21, an ROM22 and the like to perform an arithmetic processing of a processed value or the like necessary for calculation of an air flow rate Qa. In operation, a throttle valve opening signal TVO is read in from the sensor 10, and after it is converted into digital from analog, a difference value DELTATVO of signals TVO within a specified unit time is computed and then, compared with a specified acceleration decision value (A). Based on the results, the unit 20 calculates the air flow rate Qa to be sucked into a cylinder tube 3 on an output of the means 18 when judging that the engine 1 is not in a specified transition state and upon a shift to a transition state, it corrects the output of the means 18 based on the throttle valve opening TVO and a crank angle from the sensor 15 to calculate the flow rate Qa.
