摘要 In order to limit the pressure within the hydraulic system (HS) of a piston rail brake, a plurality of excess pressure valves (UV1, UV2, UV3) which are set to different pressures are provided. The valves, with the exception of the valve (UV3) which is set to the highest pressure, are located in series with hydraulic switches (SU1, SU2) which can be adjusted as required by a control device (SE1) in order to deactivate individual excess pressure valves (UV1, UV2). The limitation of pressure within the hydraulic system is necessary so that lightweight vehicles on the piston rail brake do not jump off the rails. In addition to the excess pressure valves, valves (V1, V2) which respond to different flow speeds of the hydraulic fluid may be provided, by means of which valves (V1, V2) the piston rail brake can be adjusted to different action speeds. In order to control these valves, hydraulic switches (S1, S2) are also provided, of which switches (S1, S2) only one may be activated in each case. The piston rail brake is to be deactivated as required by means of a further hydraulic switch (SR). <IMAGE>
