PURPOSE:To equalize the external measurements and the display part measurements of the title display device by the method wherein an electrode is picked out to outside from the side end face of a metal block, for which an external lead out connection is required, by preforming a contact pressure welding method. CONSTITUTION:A group of anode pattern 44 is provided on the first main surface of a both face copper-clad substrate 22 of resin base material.The anode electrode of LED 1 arranged in matrix form and an anode pattern 44 are connected by a wire 6. A group of cathode pattern 88 and a soldering land 71 to be used for a metal block terminal are provided on the second main surface of the substrate 22. A penetrated hole is provided at the place of arrangement of LED 1 of the substrate, a metal block 51 is inserted into said penerated hole and buried therin. The cathode electrode of LED1 is arranged and soldered on the end face of the side of the first main surface of the block 51. The side end face of the second main surface of the block 51 and a pattern 88 are connected by solder 33. A metal block 51' is buried in the pattern 44 and the side end face of the first main suface is soldered to the pattern 44 in the same manner as above. |
