<p>PURPOSE:To improve the output accuracy and the reliability of a wind power generator by employing both a variable speed accelerator and a pitch variable control. CONSTITUTION:A wind power generator has a variable-pitch propeller 10. When the propeller is rotated by wind, the rotation is accelerated by a variable speed accelerator 22 to drive a generator 16. The output of the generator 16 is supplied to a system power source 18. A wind speed receiver 24 detects a wind speed. A governor oscillator 26 detects a pulsation by the variation in the momentary wind speed of the detected wind speed to feedforward control the acceleration ratio of the accelerator 22 to cancel the pulsation of the output of the generator 16 due to the pulsation of the wind speed. The pulsation of the wind speed is obtained, for example, as the momentary wind speed deviation for a mean wind speed. The oscillator 26 detects the pulsation of the output of the generator 16 to feedback control the acceleration ratio of the accelerator 22 so as to cancel the pulsation.</p> |
