In a wear-resistant fastening means that is simple to release and has a spherical connecting element (1) which overcomes the locking engagement of the aligning and gripping element in order to connect or separate two parts it is proposed that the aligning and gripping element (spreading member) used be two rings (4, 4') or caps joined to each other via a plastic or elastic bracket (6). In the connected state, the rings or caps surround the spherical connecting element (1) tightly. The fastening means is to be used preferentially for connection of a removable denture part with the residual teeth. <IMAGE>
