<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of an equipment by loading/unloading an external storage card to/from the right side of the portable business machine and making the longitudinal width of the business machine nearly equal to an integer-fold of the width of the card so as to facilitate the replacement of the card. CONSTITUTION:The front face 12 of a main body 11 of a portable computer 10 is provided with a liquid crystal display device 8, a numeral input keyboard 19, a character input keyboard 20 and a power supply switch 21 or the like. Three connectors 22 storing a memory card 30 are provided to the rear face 13 and a guide 24 is provided to the end of the connectors 22 and a printer 17 can be loaded/unloaded to/from the upper end face of the main body 11. The ridge 31 of the memory card 30 is inserted to the slot of the guide 24 and loaded, then the operation end 32 of the memory card 30 is nearly coincident with the right side face 15 of the computer 10. The portable computer 10 is a device whose length is long, the longitudinal length is nearly 3 times the width of the card 30 and the lateral width is nearly equal to the total length of the card 30.</p> |
