PURPOSE:To easily and inexpensively form a vent hole in a longitudinal direction to a core simultaneously with the formation of the core by plunging a pin for gas hole via a lifting body into cavities delineated by dies through blow ports then blowing core sand. CONSTITUTION:Perpendicular mating faces 3a, 4a of the 1st, 2nd dies 3, 4 are brought into tight contact with each other to delineate the cavities 9, 10 having the blow ports 9a, 10a.A supporting plate 7 supported by a connecting mechanism 6 is then lowered via the lifting body 5 and is brought into tight contact with the top surface of the dies 3, 4 to plunge the pin 40 for gas hole attached to the bottom surface of the supporting plate 7 through the above-mentioned blow ports 9a, 10a into the cavities 9, 10. The above-mentioned connecting mechanism 6 is then released and only the lifting body 5 is raised. A sand box 8 is then moved from a lateral retreat position and the core sand is blown through the above-mentioned blow hole and blow ports 9a, 10a into the cavities 9,10 in the position contiguous to the blow into (not shown) provided around the pin 40 for gas hole of the plate 7. |
