PURPOSE:To obtain a clear image free from fogging and uneven density by setting up the light quantity of destaticization to prescribed times the half- exposure energy of a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A recording drum is stationarily rotated, negatively charged toner is almost uniformly sticked on the surface of the photosensitive body 1c while carrying the toner in the reverse direction against the traveling direction of a recording medium to develop solid toner, and then the developed image is exposed 5 in accordance with its image pattern. In an exposing part, photocarrier generated in the photosensitive body is moved to the surface of the photosensitive body to generate electrostatic latent image charge 11 as trap charge. Similarly to the developing machine 2, a developing machine 3 also electrostatically removes charged toner from non-exposed part to obtain a toner image 6. Then, the toner image is electrostatically transferred to recording paper 12 by a conductive rubber roller 4 and fixed 13 to obtain a permanent image 14. Then, the photosensitive body is destaticized with the quantity of light corresponding to the about 1.5 times the half-exposure energy of the photosensitive body. |
