PURPOSE:To reduce pressure loss of supplied fluid by providing a flow resistance component on the outer face of a fluid supply perforated tube or a hollow yarn membrane layer. CONSTITUTION:In an oxygen enriched hollow yarn membrane element, the filling density of a hollow yarn membrane is lowered to make disposition of hollow yarn membrane rough to a certain extent. A flow resistance component 3 is provided on the outer surface of a fluid supply perforated tube 2, and/or a flow resistance component 3' is provided on the outer surface of hollow yarn membrane layer 1. Stiff or bag-shaped materials and the like such as porous FRP and the like are used as flow resistance components 3, 3'. A fluid mixture for separation and condensation passes through a fluid supply tube 4, a fluid supply perforated tube 2 and resistance component 3 to be supplied uniformly to the hollow yarn membrane layer 1. Out of supply fluid, component selectively permeated through the hollow yarn membrane is concentrated, passing through a resin wall 5, and picked up from a hollow yarn membrane 6. Commutation effect of supplied fluid in the hollow yarn membrane is enhanced by resistance component to control transformation of flow and generation of concentration polarization.
