METHOD FOR FORMING POLYSULFONE COMPOSITE MEMBRANE

PURPOSE:To improve the gas permeability and permselectivity of a composite membrane, by forming the composite membrane by applying a resin solution of which the polystyrenic resin is 10-10<-4>wt% to a porous membrane comprising a polysulfone resin. CONSTITUTION:A polystyrene resin coating solution of which the resin concn. is 10-10<-4>wt% is prepared. A porous membrane is formed of a polysulfone resin and the aforementioned polystyrene resin coating solution is applied to said porous membrane to prepare a composite membrane. The polysulfon resin is aliphatic or aromatic polysulfone having a repeating unit represented by formula (wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different and are 1-40C aliphatic or aromatic compound). The polysulfone resin porous membrane pref. has a pore size cutting 90% or more of dextrane with MW of 70,000.
