PURPOSE:To prevent deformation and permit the mass production by engaging a feeding gear with the top or bottom part of a coil-shaped space expander suspended by a work hanger and cutting the sent-out expander by a cutter. CONSTITUTION:A spacer expander 1 guided by a guide 3 is engaged with a gear 4, and sent out by a necessary length through one revolution of the feeding gear 4 by the guide 3. A cutter 6 is lowered by a driving cylinder 7, and a roller 24 is lowered, and the cutters 6 are set close to each other around 23, and the expander 1 is cut. Then, the cut expander 1' is shifted to a carrier hook part 9 by a scraper 8 operated by a driving cylinder 10, and said expander 1' is supported from the longitudinal and transverse directions by the hook part 9, and a carrier guide 11 is shifted along a guide sleeve 12 by a driving cylinder 22, and the hook part 9 and the expander 1' are shifted along a guide sleeve 12, and thus cutting of the expander can be automated, and the stable quality can be obtained. |
