PURPOSE:To obtain an Al alloy for sacrificial anode excellent in current efficiency and having low anode potential, by incorporating specific amounts of Zn, Sn, and Zr to Al and further adding one or more elements among Si, Re, and Ba to the above. CONSTITUTION:As an Al alloy material for voltaic anode for use in cathodic protection, an Al alloy containing, by weight, 2.0-6.0% Zn, 0.01-1.0% Sn, 0.0005-1% Zr, and 0.0005-0.5% of one or more elements among Si, Re, and Ba is used. In this way, the Al alloy for voltaic anode combining stable, low anode potential with high current efficiency can be obtained.
