<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a pressure loss caused by an intake valve by arranging a ball opening or closing a passage between an intake chamber and an intake hole in response to the pressure change of the intake chamber in the intake chamber at the lap winding end section of a fixed scroll. CONSTITUTION:A notch 20 is formed at the winding end section 4c of the lap 4b of a fixed scroll 4, and a ball 19 is arranged between the notch 20 and the end plate 5a of a rotary scroll 5 so as not to be brought into contact with the lap 5b of the rotary scroll 5. On the other hand, an intake hole 22 connected to an outside intake pipe 21 is communicated to the winding end section 4c of the lap 4b of the fixed scroll 4. When the pressure difference between the intake hole 22 and an intake chamber is changed, the ball 19 is moved in response to the pressure difference, and a communicating passage between them is opened or closed. Since the passage resistance due to the ball 19 is small, a pressure loss during the intake is remarkably reduced.</p> |
