PURPOSE:To permit to reproduce a set condition correctly when electric power is supplied again by a method wherein a transmitting means, transmitting backup operating condition control data to a remote controller, is equipped in the title device. CONSTITUTION:An indoor control unit 1 inputs A.C. electric source 11 and D.C. voltage is supplied by a constant voltage circuit 12 while the D.C. voltage is supplied to a remote control unit 4 through an electric source wire 13. The indoor control unit 1 is provided with a micro-computer 14, controlling various operations, and a backup circuit 18, effecting the backup of the micro-computer 14. A modulating circuit 16, inputting the output data of a data input and output deciding micro-computer 15, transmits a modulation output signal to the electric source wire 13 while a demodulation circuit 17, receiving a signal transmitted through the electric source wire 13 as input, supplies demodulating data to the micro-computer 15. Further, the output terminal of the backup circuit 18 is connected to the electric source terminal of the micro-computer 14 and permits to supply a sufficient electric source voltage for holding the necessary data in case an electric supply from the A.C. electric source 11 is stopped.
