发明名称 FORMATION OF FINER CRYSTAL GRAIN OF METAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To uniformly and stably form the finer crystal grains of a metal and to improve the mechanical strength and corrosion resistance of the metal with ease by subjecting the metal which does not induce martensite transformation to low temp. working at a high reduction ratio at an adequate temp. then to quick heating. CONSTITUTION:The metal such as copper, nickel, aluminum, or high manganese steel which does not induce the martensite transformation is subjected to the low temp. working at about <=10 deg.C, more preferably <=0 deg.C and at about >=20%, preferably about >=40%, more preferably about >=60% reduction ratio, by which the dynamic restoration of the metal during working is prevented and the accu mulation energy by working is maximized. The above-mentioned metal is there after subjected to quick heating at >=1 deg.C/sec, preferably about >=3 deg.C/sec, more preferably about >=3 deg.C/sec cooling rate to quickly release the above-mentioned accumulated energy and to attain the recrystallization temp. Many re crystallization nuclei are thereby uniformly generated and the stable finer crystal grains are obtd.
