PURPOSE:To shorten the period of construction work by a method in which vertical reinforcing materials set along the outside of walling parts to make up the wall of a water channel are supported by struts from outside, and prestressed PC steel materials are integrally fixed to the vertical reinforcing materials and the struts. CONSTITUTION:A foundation 13 and a base 14 are provided in two rows at an interval in the widthwise and lengthwise directions of a water channel 2 to be constructed on the ground 1, and struts 8 consisting of chord members 15 and lattice materials 16 are erectly provided on the base 14. A vertical reinforcing material 7 and the strut 8 are attached at an interval in the height direction of the strut 8, and steel materials are connected with the facing side of the material 7 and a walling part 6 is provided to form a pair of mutually facing walls 3 for the water channel 2. Rubbles 4 are put on the ground 1 between the walls 3 and leveled to construct a floor 5. PC steel materials 8 attached to the materials 7 and the struts 8 are tensed by a jack, etc., both ends are fixed to both ends of chord members 11 and 15, and prestress is introduced into them.
