PURPOSE:The titled arm, designed to engage and bring mutual engaging and contacting parts to engage and come into contact when the central axis of an optical glass material placed and supported on a transfer arm part is in alignment with the central axis of a mold and capable of carrying out good forming. CONSTITUTION:An engaging and contacting part 51 capable of engaging and coming into contact with an engaging and contacting part 50 consisting of an L-shaped stopper plate 52 and engaging hole 53 engaging with a tapered hole pin 54 consisting of a body part (54a) and tapered part (54b) is provided near an optical glass carrying part 35 in a forming chamber. The engaging and contacting part 51 is constructed of the engaging tapered pin 54 formed on the stopper plate 52 on the side of the engaging and contacting part 50 and a stopper bolt 55 capable of coming into contact with a contacting surface (52a) of the stopper plate 52 and the tapered pin 54 and bolt 55 are fixed on a support part 56 protrusively formed on a transfer arm 1. The engaging and contacting parts 50 and 51 are then set so that the pin 54 may be engaged with the engaging hole 53 of the stopper plate 52 and the bolt 55 may be brought into contact with the contacting surface (52a) of the stopper plate 52 and positioned when the central axis of an optical glass material 2 placed on the arm 1 is in alignment with the central axes of the top and bottom forces.
