PURPOSE:To control the extension of the directional characteristic by bisecting the buffer of a closed-type cabinet and connecting the respective buffers so that the central part can move forward and backward (including rotation). CONSTITUTION:The center sides of the bisected buffers 22 are connected with a pair of joiners 24, and a packing 23 is mounted on the outer periphery of the buffers 22. The packing 23 is made engaged in a groove 25 provided in the both side-plates of the cabinet 21 with a width slightly narrower than the diameter of the packing 23. A closed-type speaker system is thus formed. A straight groove 26 is provided in the ceiling and bottom plates of the cabinet 21 along the center axis of the cabinet, into which the protruding part of the joiners 26 is fitted. Accordingly, the joiners 24 slides stright along the center axis. Therefore, the both buffers 22 can be varied in angle with exactly the same degrees of angle.
