PURPOSE:To improve the operational environment without dispersing a soldering exhaust gas in a chamber and to prevent the atmospheric pollution such as offensive odor by joining a soldering treating device to a treating device for the soldering exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust hoods 25, 25' are provided to a soldering furnace 24 for a heat exchanger and a soldering exhaust gas contg. harmful substance such as amine is introduced into a washing tower 2 for the exhaust gas through the exhaust ducts 17, 17'. Washing water is sent to the discharge parts 9-11 thereof from a washing tank 1 and the water films are formed on the water film plates 3-5 and brought into gas-liquid contact with the exhaust gas, and the temp. of the exhaust gas is descended and also the harmful components contained in the exhaust gas are absorbed by washing water. The exhaust gas passed through the washing tower 2 is passed through a gas-liquid separator 13 to remove mist and thereafter discharged to the atmosphere.
