PURPOSE:A resin composition suitable especially as coating compound, waterproof material, etc., obtained by blending a main resin composition with a mixture of a liquid styrene low polymer and a liquid.styrene formaldehyde low polymer and/or a liquid low block copolymer. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. main resin composition, preferably comprising a coating epoxy resin or urethane resin, a crosslinking agent and additives such as filler, etc., is blended with 1-70pts.wt. (B) mixture of (i) a liquid styrene low polymer having 1-1,000 poise viscosity (25 deg.C) and comprising a polymer of 2-5mol of styrene as a main component and (ii) a liquid styrene.formaldehyde low polymer and/or (C) liquid low block copolymer which has 10-1,000 poise viscosity (25 deg.C) and is obtained by subjecting a formaldehyde to polycondensation with the component B-i to give a resin composition, wherein both the components B and C contain >=30wt% phenol as a copolymerization component in the case of necessity. |
