PURPOSE:To prevent a misconvergence from occurring by providing left and right cathode-ray tubes with a thermal sensor, and switching the direction of rotation of a fan by making use of a temperature difference detection. CONSTITUTION:The thermal sensor S1 is installed in the vicinity (or closely contacting) of the deflection yoke D1 of the cathode-ray tube 4B, and the one S2 in the vicinity of the deflection yoke D3 of the cathode-ray tube CRT 4R. When the temperature readings of the sensors S1 and S2 are in a relation TS1>TS2, the fan 1B rotates to blow a wind to the direction of arrow. If the reading of the sensor S1 goes down, the direction of the wind flow reverses, and the wind blows so that the reading of the sensor S2 comes lower than that of the sensor S1. In such a way, the direction of the wind is automatically changed so that the temperature difference between the sensors S1 and S2 comes to the minimum. Consequently, the misconvergence can be suppressed.
