PURPOSE:To obtain a double balance type mixer with simple circuit constitution and ease of monolithic circuit formation by inputting input signals of the 1st and 2nd frequencies each different in phase by 180 deg. to gates, sources or drains of two FETs respectively, and obtaining output signals having the frequency of the sum and difference of the frequencies of the two input signals from the drain or source connected together. CONSTITUTION:Gates 22, 23 of FETs are arranged at both outsides around a common source 21 of both transistors (TRs) on a semiconductor substrate B and drains 24, 25 of the FETs are arranged at further outside. The 1st input signals whose phase differes by 180 deg. are supplied to terminals T1, T4 and the 2nd input signals whose phase differes by 180 deg. are fed to terminals T5, T7 respectively, and a signal having a frequency corresponding to the difference of the frequencies of the 1st and 2nd signals is obtained from a terminal T6. Thus the two FETs are combined in this way to constitute a double balance mixer thereby facilitating the circuit integration.
