PURPOSE:To lubricant, containing a novel organosilicone compound as a principal component and useful for improving the lubricity performance of sliding surfaces of high-speed bearings, magnetic disks, etc. CONSTITUTION:A lubricant containing a novel organosilicone compound expressed by formula I [Me is methyl; R is (preferably 1-3C) alkylene; R' is 1-5C (substituted) oxyalkylene; m is 5-50; n is 0 or 1; X is polar group, e.g. -OH, -COOH, -OCH2COOH, etc.] as a principal component. Preferred examples of the above-mentioned organosilicone compound include compounds expressed by formulas II-IV. |
