<p>PURPOSE:To perform temperature compensation for an LED group, by dividing a multiplity of LEDs arranged in a line into a plurality of sets, and detecting the temperature in a driving IC circuit for driving each of the sets. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of a driving IC circuit itself is detected by a temperature-detecting element 7-i, and based on the result of detection, an energizing current level for a group of LEDs 1-0, 1-1,... energized by the driving IC circuit 3-i is controlled. Namely, the level of an electric current outputted from an output circuit 6-i is controlled by a current-correcting circuit 9-i according to an output from a temperature-detecting circuit part 8-i. When an abnormal temperature is detected by the element 7-i, an alarm is issued through an external alarm circuit part 10-i according to an output from the circuit part 8-i.</p> |
