PURPOSE:To form a line concentration channel device having an overload proof stress by performing a line concentration function dispersedly at both sides of a channel memory means and a selection means. CONSTITUTION:N-number of call memories 10 to which incoming high-ways HW26 where k-number of input time slots TS arrive are connected, are provided within one frame respectively, and the call memories 10 are constituted with time switches T1-Tn which write the contents of the k-number of time slots selectively with a write frequency (f) at random, and read them with a read frequency (f1), and output highways 28 of p-number of time slots. At each call memory, a holding memory 11SCM11 which controls the call memory is arranged correspondingly, and a call, when it is generated, is written at the holding memory 11 from the storage position address of the call memory 10 allocated to the call. The output highway 28 from the call memory 10 is connected to the input side of a selection circuit MPX12, and the selection circuit 12 selects the 1/n of the outputs 28 of the n-number of call memories 10.
