BAR-CODE DETECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To raise the accuracy of a bar-code reading by obtaining a received signal uniformly in a whole image sensor. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted from a light source 11 irradiates a bar-code 12. A converging means 14 is composed of plural lenses 15 and a stop-down means 16 in which a square-type slit is composed. The stop-down means 16 is positioned near the main pint of the lenses 15. Thus, the reflection light of the peripheral part of a visual field is less cut off by the stop-down means 16 which can photodetect the uniform reflection light on the whole image sensor 17 and which can detect the bar code with a high accuracy.
