The subject of the invention is a display device for a shelf, comprising a base 2 equipped with ribs 21 for holding the products displayed 3 and a front face 1 perpendicular to the said ribs 21. According to the invention, the display device is formed by separate elements of two types corresponding respectively to the base 2 and to the front face 1 and connected by assembly means 5, the said elements being made up from two types of long profiles cut up into sections of desired length, and whose profile corresponds, in cross-section to an outer profile, respectively, of the front face 1 and of the base 2. <IMAGE>
