PURPOSE:To provide a Zr alloy member which obviates the generation of nodular corrosion and white full surface corrosion in particular and has excellent corrosion resistance by incorporating Nb, Sn, Fe, and Mo respectively at prescribed ratios therein and specifying the content of (Fe+Mo). CONSTITUTION:This Zr alloy member contains, by weight, 1.7-2.5% Nb, 0.5-2.2% Sn, and 0.04-1.0% Fe, consists of the balance Zr and inevitable impurities and is specified to 0.2-1.0% (Fe+Mo). The purpose of this invention is to provide a fuel clad pipe, fuel spacer and fuel channel box consisting of the Zr alloy having high strength and high corrosion resistance (nodular corrosion resistance and white corrosion resistance). More specifically, the various parts mentioned above are produceable from this Zr alloy member and therefore, a fuel assembly having high economy is manufactured and the improvement of the reliability is expected.
