PURPOSE:To obtain an output signal with a large amplitude and the high speed characteristic by a comparatively small power consumption by connecting the 1st series circuit comprising diodes connected in the forward direction and the 2nd series circuit comprising current amplifier elements connected in the forward direction in parallel with each other. CONSTITUTION:The current amplifier elements CA1, CA2 such as transistors (TRs) or FETs are connected in series in the forward direction and a load resistor RL is connected to the connection midpoint of the elements CA1, CA2. In using complementary TRs Q1, Q2 as the current amplifier elements CA1, CA2, the current Io flowing to the load RL is a multiple of (1+beta1) to a base current i1 or a multiple of (1+beta2) of a base current i2 where beta1 is a current amplification factor of the TR Q1 and beta2 is a current amplification factor of the TR Q2 and even when output currents I1, I2 of constant current sources CC1, CC2 are small, the effect similar to increasing them is attained.
