PRODUCTION OF FLANGE FOR LOCKING GUIDE ROLLER IN GUIDE MEMBER FOR TAPE

摘要

PURPOSE:To secure a high bearing pressure with a small-sized press machine and to obtain the flange with good accuracy in the height and low in the production cost by deciding the height in the axial direction of a sintered body by strongly pressing the annular projecting part of the sintered body in the axial direction of the press-fitting hole. CONSTITUTION:In case of sizing, a sintered body S is placed on a supporting base 19 with its annular projecting part 3e facing upward by ascending a punch 21. The lower end face of both leg parts 20 are brought into contact with the upper face of the supporting base 19 by compressing the annular projecting part 3e of the sintered body S by strongly pressing it in the axial direction of the press-fitting hole 3c from the lower face of the punch 21 by descending it so as to pinch the sintered body S by the both leg parts 20. The height (h) in the axial direction of the press-fitting hole 3c in the flange obtd. via said process is decided same as the length l of the both leg parts 20. The flange with good accuracy in height is obtd. by strongly pressing the annular projecting part having narrow area in this way.
