PURPOSE:To reduce the storage shape and to facilitate editing and correcting operation through OA equipment by incorporating a driving circuit for a transmission type liquid crystal display device and a storage circuit for display information in a projection part, changing the contents of the storage part externally and changing image planes on the liquid crystal device, and projecting its enlarged image on a screen. CONSTITUTION:The top surface of the projection part 1 is covered with the transmission type LCD (liquid crystal display device) 11 and its driving circuit 12 and storage circuit (RAM) 13 for display information are incorporated in the projection part 1. The LCD 11 is formed by forming display parts of two glass substrates inside the glass substrates by using transparent electrodes and charging liquid crystal between them. When display segments of the LCD 11 form a picture element type dot matrix, not only characters, but also a general image are easily displayed according to the display information in the storage circuit 13. The storage circuit 13 has, capacity of, for example, one image plane, but is contents are varied from an external storage medium. A floppy disk, a magnetic tape, etc., for a word processor and a personal computer are usable as the storage medium.
