PURPOSE:To minimize a gunshot phenomenon without decreasing the demolishing power of a static demolishing agent comprising an expansive tablet made by compression molding of an expanding agent consisting mainly of CaO and a hydration modifier, by incorporating burned calcium oxide particles therein. CONSTITUTION:A calcium oxide powder is thoroughly mixed with a hydration modifier (e.g., alumina cement or calcium borate), and the mixture is compression-molded on, e.g., a briquetting machine to produce an expansive tablet. Separately, lime is burned to produce calcium oxide particles having a particle size of about 1-10mm. The calcium oxide particles are mixed with the expansive tablet in a ratio of 0.5 or less to 1 to give an objective static demolishing agent. Since the calcium oxide is mixed in particulate form, not in powdery form, the control of the rate of hydration can be facilitated and the reduction in vapor pressure can be expected; therefore, a gunshot phenomenon can be minimized.
