PURPOSE:To obtain an electric signal transfer element attenuating a spurious reflected wave being an add number of multiple of a transfer electric signal by specifying the size of a packing member. CONSTITUTION:The packing members 46, 48 have the size reflecting sub spurious waves 35c, 35d having a phase different by a half wavelength (lambda/2) of reflected spurious waves 35a, 35b generated by an ultrasonic wave 33 made incident in the packing members 46, 48 from an input transducer 34 while being reflected by input/output transducers 34, 46 toward a propagation medium 31. Thus, the sub spurious wave 35c (shown in figure 3Td') advanced by a half wavelength (+lambda/2) with respect to an odd order reflected spurious wave such as a spurious reflected wave 35a having a 3-time distance time 3Td or a reflected spurious wave 35b of 5-time distance time 5Td is caused from the packing member 46, and a sub spurious wave 35d (shown in 3Td'') delayed by a half wave (-lambda/2) with respect to the odd order reflected spurious is produced from the packing member 48. Thus, only an output electric pulse 35 as a direct delivery signal is fed to the output transducer 36.
