PURPOSE:To extremely simply read a document again by supplying the ejected document from a second document supplying means by hand. CONSTITUTION:In a carrier path between a document thickness detecting part 9 and a fluorescent light 12, a hopper H2 for supplying the document 2 by hand is provided together with a hopper H1 on which the plural documents 2 are mounted. On the documents 2 read in a reading position P, the numbering is performed by a printing head 14 and they are ejected to a reject stacker 18. When the documents 2 ejected to the reject stacker 18 are mounted on a paper feeding base 19 of the hopper part H2, the documents 2 are guided between a pick roller 20 and a guide roller 21, pressed by a guide plate 22 and supplied to the reading position P again through a carrier roller 23. Thereby, the re-reading can be extremely easily performed.
