Steering column switch for indicating the direction of travel in motor vehicles

A steering column switch for indicating the direction of travel in motor vehicles is proposed which is composed essentially of a switching element which is pivotably mounted in the switch housing and is connected to the switching lever, a driver element which ensures a driver and resetting function and is assigned to the switching element and a resetting component which is assigned to the driver element as well as electrical contact means which are assigned to the switching element. The steering column switch is based on the technical problem of designing the said switch in such a way that the most robust possible design which fulfils a high service life expectation is obtained by means of advantageous development of the individual components, in which design the smallest possible forces are necessary to deflect the driver element in the case of anti-fracture protection. This is achieved in that the resetting triangle is of integral construction with the driver element, and in that a securing element which interacts with the driver element is present arranged symmetrically on the other end lying opposite the axis of rotation of the switching element.
