PURPOSE:To properly register position information where a mobile station exists as the position by broadcasting a base station identification code from a base station, allowing a mobile station to receive the identification code so as to recognize the service area at which its own station is located at present and sending position registration request signal including the mobile station identification code to the base station. CONSTITUTION:Base stations 1, 2 use a prescribed channel to send respectively base station identification code signals A, B.... In case the mobile station 3 enters a new base station service area, the mobile station 3 compares the base identification code A received in the past with a base station identification code B received newly and if they are dissident, a new service area 20 is detected. The mobile station 3 sends a position registration request signal added by a mobile station identification code alpha to the new base station 2. The base station 2 writes the position information of the mobile station in a position registration memory area 5 corresponding to the mobile station. |
