PURPOSE:To satisfactorily peel off a transfer material by separating a separating claw from a process cartridge and making a machine body have it, making it interlock with attachment and detachment of the process cartridge, and installing the separating claw to an image carrying body. CONSTITUTION:A process cartridge 2 contains as one body a primary electrifier 3, a cleaning device 4, and a photosensitive drum 5, and can be attached and detached to and from a copying device body by a guide rail 6. As for a peeling 1 of a transfer material, a separating claw 7 contacts to a photosensitive drum 5 as shown by a full line, under a state that the process cartridge 2 has been installed completely to a copying device. On the other hand,at the time of attaching and detaching the process cartridge 2, the peeling device 1 becomes a state that it has been withdrawn to a position of a dotted line, and since the separating claw 7 is separated from the photosensitive drum 5, the photosensitive drum is not damaged, and attachment and detachment of the process cartridge are not obstructed either. In this way, the transfer material can be peeled off satisfactorily.
