To prevent the escape of earth material from the gap between the floor and the sealing flap of a transport vehicle, a sealing device is proposed which has a sealing-off body which is composed of a multiplicity of decomposable organic materials which are packed alongside one another and are compacted by the application of pressure. This seal can be unloaded together with the earth material, as weather causes it to decompose. |
