PURPOSE:To obtain the titled smoked KONJAK (paste made from starch of devil's tongue) having excellent taste and flavor and suitable as a snack or simple relish, by adding a smoke oil and a seasoning containing soy sauce and sugar to water, immersing and boiling a piece of KONJAK in the obtained seasoning liquid and draining and drying the cooked KONJAK. CONSTITUTION:A seasoning liquid is produced by adding smoke oil and a seasoning containing soy sauce and sugar to water. A piece of KONJAK sliced to a thickness of about several mm is immersed and boiled in the seasoning liquid, drained and dried to obtain the objective smoked KONJAK. The concentration of the smoke oil is preferably 0.1-0.5wt%. |
