PURPOSE:A batch dehydrator, having a centrifugal dehydration vessel constituted of a disk and dehydration cylinder and capable of lifting the dehydration cylinder to form a space between the cylinder and the disk in taking out green tea leaves after dehydration and surely carrying out dehydrating operation of raw green tea leaves each time and readily taking out the green tea leaves. CONSTITUTION:A dehydration vessel for centrifugally separating water driplets from raw green tea leaves is constituted of a disk 28, fixed on a central shaft 2 and used for a bottom plate and a dehydration cylinder 4 slidable vertically to the central shaft 2. In charging and dehydrating operations of the raw green tea leaves, the disk 28 and dehydration cylinder 4 are joined to contain and dehydrate the raw green tea leaves. In taking out the dehydrated green tea leaves, the disk 28 and dehydration cylinder 4 are separated to form a space (a) and the raw green tea leaves are taken out of the bottom. |
