A coffee machine is described having a coffee outlet which is arranged in front of a standing area and beneath which vessels to be filled can be placed. The coffee outlet is designed in such a way that both cups and small pots, as well as larger coffee pots for several cups can be placed beneath it, it being possible to pour in the coffee each time in a substantially spray-free manner. For this purpose, there is provided an extension element which contains three outlet openings for the coffee arranged at different distances on the standing area. The outlet openings are connected to one another by means of pivotable extension parts, the coffee running through all three outlet openings and both extension parts into a cup situated below. When placing a small pot beneath the coffee outlet, the lower extension part is pivoted away, so that the coffee now runs through two outlet openings and the upper extension part. If a coffee pot for several cups is to be placed beneath, both extension parts are pivoted away and the coffee now runs through only one outlet opening.
