Water-jet cutting has been known for a relatively long time. It is to be optimised by increasing the specific gravity and by the mixing in of stone dust. Technical execution is to be in a rolling-in manner, in a rotating funnel tube with extensions, such as, for example, blades, attached to the inner edge of the large inlet orifice and moving the water, and the inner wall is otherwise to be made as smooth as possible. By external cooling, the water can be cooled to the formation of hail, for cutting with hail, so that the material to be cut is cooled. For polishing, a soft liquid, such as, for example, alcohols or oils, is to be compacted by rolling inwards to form the nozzle jet. For this purpose, the nozzle jet is to be guided parallel to the surface. A lubricant is to be mixed in with the water, so that the nozzle does not become clogged during the addition of powder, and instead a self-lubricating liquid, rather than water, can also be used.
