A high foaming, nonionic surfactant based, light duty, liquid detergent with desirable cleansing properties and mildness to the human skin comprising four essential surfactants: 1. a water soluble nonionic surfactant as the major active ingredient, in an amount in excess of 50% by weight of the total surfactant content; 2. a supplemental amount of a water soluble, foaming, anionic surfactant excluding the ethoxylated alkyl ether sulfates; 3. a lesser amount of a water soluble, foaming zwitterionic betaine surfactant; and 4. a minor amount of a fatty acid alkanolamide foam stabilizer; dissolved in an aqueous vehicle. |
