In order to be able to fill a plurality of containers simultaneously with a liquid, gaseous or solid flowable medium, without having to measure and monitor the filling volume or filling weight of each container, the drawing off installation has a piping system (10) for transporting the medium to be drawn off with a number of branch pipes (13, 113, 213) which lead to filling valves (20, 120, 220) and in which are arranged volume chambers (40, 140, 240) with running wheels which are made to rotate by the medium passing through the volume chambers (40, 140, 240) and flow-rate recording devices (42, 142, 242) connected to the running wheels, the rate of flow to the filling station controlled by the weighing machine (50), of a single container being stored and the desired value obtained in this way being compared with the recorded and stored flow rate values for the other filling stations associated with the other containers, to permit continued feed and/or disconnection of the medium to or from the other filling stations using the comparative measurements. <IMAGE>
