PURPOSE:To improve resonse to control of a steering system, by a method wherein, by the use of a detecting value of a front wheel cornering force, a movement variable desired value and a control amount are determined. CONSTITUTION:A movement variable desired value deciding means 102 determines a cornering force, exerted on front wheels, which is detected by a detecting means 100 based on a desired vehicle model, and a movement variable responding to a car speed detected by a detecting means 101. A control amount generating means 103 generates a control amount of a state amount of a steering system, required for realization of a movement variable desired value, from a front wheel cornering force, a car speed, and vehicle factors. |
