PURPOSE:To freely vary the rigidity according to the road conditions and load ing state by connecting the free edge of a stabilizer and an axle through a connecting member which can be switched between an elastic body and a rigid body. CONSTITUTION:When valves 16 and 17 are opened at the same time through a valve connecting rod 19, the charged fluid inside an inner cylinder 11 freely flows between the chambers 14 and 15, and a piston 13 is shifted by the input transmitted through a connecting rod 23. Therefore, a piston rod 22 operates as elastic rod. When the valves 16 and 17 are closed at the same time on the contrary, the piston rod 22 operates as rigid rod. A rigidity selecting device 10 is installed between a stabilizer 2 and an axle 3, and the rigidity is adjusted by opening and closing the valves 16 and 17 according to the road conditions and loading state, and the rigidity can be easily varied. |
