PURPOSE:To obviate the clouding and contaminating of a processing liquid and the staining of paper to be treated by using the processing liquid contg. at least the condensation dimer of a 1-hydroxyalkylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid in place of a rinsing process in succession to bleach fixing. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide color photosensitive material is processed with the bleach fixing bath contg. at least the iron salt of an aminopolycarboxylic acid and thiosulfate after a color developing process in processing of said material. The material is subjected to processing in place of rinsing by using the processing liquid contg. at least the condensation dimer of the 1- hydroxyalkylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid or the alkaline salt thereof in succession to said bleach fixing. The space for an automatic developing machine is thereby reduced and the clouding and contaminating of the processing liquid are eliminated; in addition, the staining of the processed paper is obviated. |
