SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To improve sharpness and high sensitivity by combining a layer contg. silver halide particles having the crystal face defined by a Miller index (110) and layer contg. a polymer coupler latex. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide particles to be used have the crystal face defined by the Miller index (110) on the outside surface and consist substantially of silver iodide or/and silver iodobromide. The ratio of the (110) crystal face to the total outside surface is preferably >=20% and the silver halide particles having the (110) crystal face are preferably incorporated at >=30wt% into the silver halide emulsion. A coupler of a non-polymer type which is usually used and is partly or fully substd. with the polymer coupler latex may be used for the polymer coupler latex. A photosensitive material which exhibits high sensitivity and suppresses fogging is thus obtd.
