PURPOSE:To attain the dynamic control with combination of plural references by putting the control information that switches the control of a reasoning arithmetic control mechanism into the output information on at lest a partial associative knowledge of a thesaurus memory mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When the data for analysis of the meaning relation is supplied to a reasoning arithmetic control mechanism 1, the mechanism 1 extracts the corresponding rule out of rule memory mechanism 3 via a rule application sequence list 13 and executes interpretation. Then an indication is issued to a thesaurus memory mechanism 2 to execute the reasoning with use of the associative knowledge. Thus an m-member relation reasoning table 26 is retrieved and each basic element is converted into a meaning code via a meaning code dictionary 24 and outputted to a decoder 27. The outputs of both decoders 27 and 28 are supplied to a comparator 29 for decision of conditions and the result of this decision is returned to the mechanism 1 via the table 26. Then the list 13 is rewritten by a sequence list rewriting mechanism 15. Thus it is possible to perform the dynamic control with combination of plural references by providing such a mechanism that supplies the control switch information to the mechanism 1 via the associative knowledge.
